ISS integrity alarm
Whistleblowers can report violations of the law that have occurred or are likely to occur, within authorities, public institutions, other legal entities under public law, as well as within legal entities under private law, according to Law no. 361/2022 on the protection of whistleblowers in the public interest.
Violations of the law – acts consisting of an action or inaction that constitutes non-compliance with legal provisions, concerning areas such as: public procurement; financial services, products and markets, as well as the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing; product safety and conformity; transport safety; environmental protection; radiological protection and nuclear safety; food and feed safety, animal health and welfare; public health; consumer protection; protection of privacy and personal data and the security of networks and information systems, as provided for in Annex 2, violations that affect the financial interests of the European Union, as referred to in Article 325 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union and as detailed in the relevant measures of the European Union; infringements relating to the internal market, referred to in Article 26(2) of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, including infringements of European Union rules on competition and State aid, as well as infringements relating to the internal market in relation to acts which infringe rules on corporate taxation or mechanisms the purpose of which is to obtain a tax advantage which is contrary to the object or purpose of the applicable law on corporate taxation, which constitute disciplinary offences, contraventions or criminal offences, or which are contrary to the object or purpose of the law.

In the case of alerts transmitted electronically, the whistleblower receives an electronic confirmation. The whistleblower in the public interest may request, via the secure e-mail address avertizordeintegritate@spacescience.ro, the resolution status of the submitted report.

In the case of submitting a public interest tip, the whistleblower understands that he/she agrees to the processing of personal data, in accordance with EU legislation. As a personal data controller, ISS applies the provisions on the protection of personal data in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), as well as Law no. 190/2021 on implementing measures for Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) and implements technical and organizational measures to protect all operations that directly or indirectly concern personal data and to prevent unauthorized or unlawful processing, as well as accidental or unlawful data loss. In this regard, in accordance with the provisions contained in recitals 32, 40, and 42 of the preamble to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 as well as in accordance with the provisions of art.4 paragraph 1) point (11) and art.6 paragraph 1) letter (a) of the same act.
