The Institute of Space Sciences (ISS) opened its doors again this year for students, teachers and accompanying parents, thus joining the Program of the Ministry of National Education and Scientific Research - School Week \"Know more, be better\", for the entire period April 18-22, 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A team of young researchers from the ISS, as well as collaborating students from the Faculty of Physics, University of Bucharest, enthusiastically and devotedly share a little bit of the secrets of their daily research activities. Thus, the Altfel School at the ISS contains presentations as diverse as possible, such as the ALICE experiment at the LHC-CERN particle accelerator, the Pierre Auger Cosmic Radiation Observatory in Argentina, observations in nuclear emulsions under a microscope, solar observations through a telescope, observations of the contents of a liquid drop using a laser, interactive exploration of the Solar System and outer space, and a visit to the Computing Center of the Institute of Space Sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Scientific communications are adapted to the age of the children, so that the interactive lessons are as attractive and innovative as possible to allow our values \u200b\u200b\u2013 the researchers of tomorrow \u2013 to enrich their knowledge base in the field of science and technology.
